I’m a tinkerer, currently the CTO and Co-founder of SumIt Software. Outside of work, I build things for the life happening around it.
Here are a few of them.
We’re expecting our first child. I’m building a small app to keep track of sleep, feeds, and diapers in the wee hours of the night.
Part of this is practical. Part of it is wanting to build something, and going through the highs and lows of figuring it out.
The design starts in a dark room: one clear sleep timer, quiet colors, and controls within reach. It runs at home on a Mac mini.
I got into making cocktails during a sabbatical. This is where I keep the recipes I discover, ready for a quick reference when I’m making a drink.
A place for recipes, ingredients, and the drinks I can make with what’s on hand. Recipes can come from a photo, a PDF, or be entered by hand.
Like Wee Hours, it lives on the Mac mini at home. It’s a personal project and a reason to keep building.

I’m an aerospace engineer turned software engineer, now the CTO of SumIt Software.
I care about the details that make something useful. I also like getting it into people’s hands, learning from feedback, and changing my mind when there’s a reason to.
